Iguazu Falls - Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

This photograph of Iguazu Falls was taken from the upper walking trail on the Argentinian side of the falls. It looks out across the 2.7km length of the falls towards the Devil's Throat. We visited in the dry season when there wasn't as much water but the falls were still impressive. A number of walking tracks allow you to access the top and bottom of the falls while a boat ride takes you across to the island". 

The Citadel - Machu Picchu, Peru

A gruelling 4 day hike brought us from the banks of the Urubamba river to the citadel at Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise from the sun gate. Although the hike is only around 50km in distance, it is at altitude. We spent a few days acclimatising but the first two days on the hike were tough. particularly climbing up to dead woman's pass. Overall it was an amazing experience and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
