Sunrise at Bondi - Sydney, Australia
I got a new 5D earlier in the week and took it out for the first time this morning. I headed off to Bondi, in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, hoping to photograph a decent sunrise and some surfers. Unfortunately the swell wasn't that great and there weren't too many surfers out. Since I was already in Bondi, I decided to walk around towards Bronte and see if there was anything else to photograph.
More photographs inside.
Bondi Pavilion - Sydney, Australia
The sun lit-up the Bondi Pavilion as it rose over Ben Buckler but the light did not reach the other buildings. I thought the contrast made a decent composition and I fired off a few frames. It would have been a bit more interesting if the Lifeguard Tower was lit-up but I was at the wrong en of the beach for that.
Tamarama S.L.S.C. - Sydney Australia
Tamarama is a small beach between Bondi and Bronte and is separated from them by a rocky outcrop. The surf life saving club at Tamarama is perched above the beach with a view across the bay.
